Each spring, Sullivan Community Space hosts a free Easter celebration open to families across Oakland. Our Easter event is a joyful day filled with laughter, connection, and activities for kids of all ages. Children enjoy a vibrant egg hunt, creative arts and crafts stations, face painting, and fun outdoor games—all in a safe and welcoming environment.

This annual event is made possible by local volunteers and community partners who share our mission to create uplifting, family-friendly experiences. Snacks and refreshments are provided, and everyone leaves with smiles, full baskets, and warm memories. The Easter celebration is just one of the many ways we foster joy, inclusion, and community care in Oakland. See you all next year!
